Hi, it’s my first time going to HOYS this year and I’m wondering if I should book seats in advance? I hope to go on the Wednesday to the Topspec arena. Is it just first come first served or is prebooking a must? Can I just buy tickets on the day? Thanks in advance, Camonn

You’ll need tickets to get into HOYS (not sure if a shopping ticket will allow you in Caldene arena but may be worth checking). I would definitely book in advance. Seats in the Caldene are first come first served but I’ve never had an issue finding a seat.

Thank you. Are the Caldene and the Topspec arena the same arena or two separate ones?

Is the topspec arena not the smaller arena? We never went there as ran out of time. We needed seat numbers for main arena though.

If you only want to watch the showing in the TopSpec arena, buy the cheapest tickets as the seats in the TopSpec are not reserved. I always do this as the only things i want to watch in the International arena are at 7am so you can get away with sitting anywhere at that time!
Then once cobs are finished I over to the Top Spec via the shopping and stay there.

No point buying a £75 seat that you won't sit in!

That’s great! Can you buy them on the day? I can’t find how to buy just general admission tickets online.

I’ve always bought before hand. I’d buy the cheapest seats available as it’s first come first served in the Caldene arena (always lots available though) you only have an actual seat in the main arena.
