Is there anything else i can do - obviously she gets sweaty but she is awful to clip - is there an altenative?
Do i have to clip my horse?

Well, not clip? Just making sure you take great pains to warm-wash her off and dry her well so she doesn't catch a chill?

Well plenty of people do not clip and just rub down their horses. There are rigs these days that allow you to rug them damp, think they have silver or something fancy like that in the lining.
Can you not even do a small bib or apron clip on your horsey? or is she sensitive all over about it?

hi guys - she is an absolute nightmare ! i do make sure she is dry and has her fleece on etc etc - not reallt sure what response i was expecting just hoping there was some miraculous option i hadnt thought of

My mare is not clipped at the moment and we are having sweaty issues...
ATM I am using warm water,sponging her down and sweat scrapping after exercise then putting a wick away rug on her under her usual outdoor rug.
It works well as it gets rid of the sweat (that normally dries and is impossible to brush out) and doesnt give the horse a chill.
Going to attempt to clip her tomorrow, so fingers crossed.
