Blue is currently chaser clipped with a rain sheet on. If I do a blanket clip will I need to put a heavier rug on? My instinct says not to put anything heavier on.

He’s still a little on the tubby side but nowhere near as fat as he was! And is stabled at night

Probably not. It's still quite mild during the day, and if he's still tubby then he's got plenty of fat to keep him warm and a rain sheet to keep him dry :)

That’s what I though but started to doubt myself as I’ve had to put the Wb in a medium weight.
Its the first winter I’m almo completely responsible for clipping/rugging/feeding, so even though I know I know what I’m doing I kept doubting myself

How does everyone mark their clipping lines? I definitely need to! I tried electrical tape last time but he was scared of it

I've always just done them by eye. These days I cheat and start everything at the stifle though - no back to level up and nobody sees both sides at the same time. I guess chalk, or maybe marker on a grey horse
