Clip my mare? She is a 5 year old NF, currently being broken, fluffiest coat ever, and rugged, she doesnt get hot and at times i she seems a little cold so gets extra fiber.....HOWEVER when worked, sweats like god knows what and then starts trying to scratch herself....i was thinking a chase clip? would she be ok living out rugged with this?
 
Chase clip sounds good. Personally, I think it depends on how often you ride her though. If its a few times a week then go for it. The worst that will happen is that she'll need a slighter heavier rug :)
 
Bib clip or chase clip her. Use a rug to keep chills off her.
Much better to keep a clipped pony warm and dry than trying to dry a wet sweaty one !
 
If she gets a sweaty neck then do a half head, neck, chest and upto behind girth. This way she will keep her body warm and the sweaty bits will dry quicker.
I would still rug her though. :)
