HI laura i have pm'd you, i am not too far away and a i breed idxtb's i have a small herd of younsters on a yard i soley rent, so i am happy to help you out.
read my pm have included number so give me a shout and if you want to have him at mine with the other youngsters for a while you can and then hopefully that will give your the breathing space to find somewhere without having to rush into a decision
 
Also, ask YO's if they're willing to come meet him and see how nice he is!

An old YO of mine banned anything under 4 after his MIL's yearlings trashed the place. After some fluttering of eyelashes we moved a 8week old colt and his mother on the yard, and two years later Dorey actually foaled there!

All these rules will have been made based on experience- just explain your boy is better behaved than most and you may find YO's are more lenient than they make out!!

We then moved Dorey and River to a yard who'd never had youngsters before and Milo soon followed!!

But you don't find things out unless you talk to people!
