Do I stay or do I go?

There's no possibility you might want to return to your current yard in future because it won't be there, so no need to worry about offending YO. Tell her straight - you're leaving in one week, you've had fun but now its time to move on, what with the place being sold for housing. It doesn't have to be a big deal. If she's off with you who cares? You're avoiding her anyway :tongue3: so nothing changes.

Go now before space gets taken, your existing yo sounds a pain, anyway she's selling and pulling the rug from under you for money, so she doesn't give stuff about you anyway, you owe her "nothing", tell her to go Kit Kat shuffle herself.

I have decided to go, any tips on how to tell the yard owner? It's all kicked off today because I went to ask about livery at a local riding school, thinking of be put on a waiting list- and turns out the owner of that yard is friends with the owner of the current yard who now has a knickers in a twist and isnt talking to me, any tips on how to tell her I'm going?

Definitely go in that case. I wouldn't trust someone like that ever again if she has that sort of attitude. If you were to give in and stay she would have got one over on you and you would never be allowed to forget it. Start packing!
