Do magnetic stable Wraps work?

I used Bioflow ones on my boys hind legs occasionally over night a few years back, not sure if they helped alleviate stiffness but they seemed to reduce leg swelling and helped reduce a few lumps he'd got from stupid YO fencing off badger set with rusted through sheep hurdles, horse of course took the chance to injure himself on them!

I got a pair from ebay when my mare awas getting filled legs a couple of winters ago, they "cured" the legs and also reduced a splint like lump on her leg too...I don't know how - but they just did!

i am having good results with bioflo boots for my mare tendonitus and legs filling at night saw a benefit very quickley

Ella has arthritis - since she has been wearing her wraps at night, she is so much better. Don't how they work, but I am sure they do

I bought a set at YHL on Sunday as our rather aged dressage horse's legs fill really badly... in fact they look like tree trunks! I put them on Sunday night and by Monday evening, his legs had shape again!!!
I haven't got a clue how they work, although I was told that the magnets make the blood circulate more, but they work!!!!
I use the Equilibrium Stable wraps!

I use magnetic hock boots on my mare they are great, she had and injury and her hocks took a lot of strain for 18 months so tended to swell in the night. Now there is no swelling and she comes out of the stable with a spring in her step. As an old crock myself I wear a magnetic bracelet that I think has been very good to my old bones

Prides legs fill at night, especially in the cold weather. He wears bioflow boots in front during the night in the stable and his legs have dramatically reduced in size, plus they give him some heat on the cold nights!

I love mine

Are the Bioflow ones stable wraps / boots or do you use the brushing boot type ones and leave them on overnight?

I'm thinking of getting some for my boy (after I sold mine a few years ago

). I really like the Veredus ones as they offer so much support but they are quite expensive. The Equilibrium ones look quite good but are quite loose. Just wondering how people get on with them really.

Thanks!

I have the veredus ones for my mare she gets really swollen legs at night and i clip her legs so i liked the idea of the warmth from a stable wrap as well as the magnets.
I love them they keep her legs nice and snug but most importantly stop them swelling as much, they are really easy to keep clean ans last really well ( had mine over a year and virtually like new)

Do they work? What do you want them to "work" on?
I believe they can help with a lot of issues, and there is debate as to whether magnetic therapy does "work" or not. IMO some things are not explainable yet, it may be a while until we figure out how these things do work and until then I wouldn't dismiss it as an option.
My college is currently undertaking a (highly scientific

) research project on whether the Equilibrium magnetic wraps reduce "stiffness". It will be interesting to see what comes of the research... although I imagine there's a good reason none of the "proper" unis wanted to do the project in the first place and it came to my little agric college (doesn't bode well!)
My friend used the Bioflow boots on her horse with tendonitis and said they were fab. My horse has a torn tendon and much worse issues than my friend's had, and she is *touch wood* sound without any magnetic therapy. It works both ways. Give them a go!

I've just bought a pair. Ordered them straight from Aerborn. 0115 941 4040. They were ordered on Tues, and I received them today (Thurs.) At just over £50 they were about £12 less than the shop price. Excellent service.
