im sorry probably a pointless post !!
ive just had a lady ring me to ask if i was still looking for a horse to loan woohoo i said yes iam,so asks me if i could tell her what i was looking for etc so i told her and she said are you only looking for a gelding and i said um yes !!!!!!
as its says in my ads im looking for 15 hh+ gelding !!!!!!!!

i know bless her but its the first phoncall ive ever had after advertising for 6 months lol and was a bit gutted when she said was it only a gelding you wanted as i got my hopes up for a min there !!!!

i guess it was one of those nothing ventured nothing gained i would have done the same as the woman just to see if there was a possibility.
why wont/cant you have a mare?(sorry i might have missed something)

because we have no more room for mares,we have them seperate have done for years and the gelding field is huge with only 6 in there !!!!

I imagine she was hoping you might be open to pursuasion. I do know what you mean though, when I advertised my pony recently I stated his height and people kept saying "what height is he" then " oh he's too small", or" how much?" Ummm...it's in the ad!!

when I advertised as wanting a horse to buy I asked for 14-14.2hh Glding 4-8 years old.

I was offered 13 - 13.2hh and 15hh+ horses

mares

and horses aged between 10 and 15 years old.

I got so fed up I replied to one email saying

"No offence but go back and read the wanted advert correctly"

Some people eh ..the mind boggles.
