Do people swap horses/ponies or part-ex? Prob silly idea!

Frustrated - pony not selling and really need something bigger, she was meant to be my 'getting back into youngsters so smaller and easier' project, the money from which was supposed to enable me to buy something bigger to bring on and have fun with. I've tried every price from £2000 to £5000 and don't even get phone calls below £4000. She's an amazing little mare, nicely schooled, competing successfully, very safe, good to do etc, I've got her ad plastered all over the internet, tried horsequest, horsemart, all the free sites (about 20 of them!!), PC website etc. No luck - so do you think there'd be any chance of finding someone nice who'd part-ex/swap her for a bigger model? I'm happy to go back to unbacked 3yo stage, so values would be equal, just want something over 15hh! I thought maybe a dealer would - but how to find a good one?
 
That's exactly what we did last year.... couldn't sell our really lovely jumping pony, had him advertised in various places. Eventually, had a call asking if we would swap with a horse and the resulting swap was amazing for both parties:)
 
whats the height of the pony age etc and what exactley are you after? just being aware that swapping/pt exchanging with a dealer your going to get a much less for value so to speak.
 
I did this 8yrs ago, i had a mad welsh cob mare that i didn't get on with & wanted to sell, & i spotted an ad for a 14.2 Arab gelding & he sounded nice so rang up for a chat, jokingly i asked the owner if she fancied swapping for a cob....as they say the rest is history! I still have my Arab gelding 8yrs later, it was the best thing i ever did! Its always worth being cheeky & asking!

I have:
14hh mare, 4yo - safe, sane rosette machine for a rider who has some experience - naturally fast but in control and balanced, snaffle mouth, 100% in every way, only stops/runs out if on unjumpable stride, doesn't spook/buck/rear. Will affiliate SJ easily (could go straight in BN/Disco), would event, has cleared 1m10 with rider, haven't asked higher. Has to wear nose net in summer

I want:
15hh+ that has enough scope to eventually do at least Newcomers, pref unbacked/just backed (prefer to make my own mistakes lol). Oh, and no full TBs as cost too much to keep and have one already!

What are my chances?
