I have now got a small area of sallender on the front of one back leg of my pony who's just having treatment for mites. Does it follow on that sort of thing after the mite damage to the skin?
My lad has always had sallenders behind his knees. We had scraping done for mites etc, and nothing was found. So we just treat the scabs with E45 and try and keep it under control. He never itches at the patches.
