I'm seriously looking now (little dude fell through...he's gone to be a FR) but no idea where to start but have mentioned it to my few horsey friends.

I've not ridden for 13 months...since I broke my T12. I'm not sure what my nerve will be up to but I've never been the next Mary King. ;)

I can't afford to buy so would be looking to loan....I have two references, one very glowing (she gave me a foal for bringing on the little dude lol) :D I would love something that is happy hacking two or three times a week but as my confidence grows would be just as happy doing the odd SJ/DR etc. I'm really not fussed on age, I had an 20+ mare on loan previously who only left me because I felt she deserved a lighter jockey (she was a 13hh Sec B). An older soul would be very welcome to retire with me too. I like forward going rather than kick every stride plods and especially if I do end up jumping I need a real confidence giver but my nerve its up to something that bucks, bolts or rears.

Honestly....I don't think anyone would loan such a perfect soul but I'm willing to jump through thousands of hoops for one. Am I dreaming?

there must be something out there for you, might not be something that can take you from nervous nellie up to sj queen but as long as you find the right one to get you back on board ,finding the next one would be easier;)

I think you will have many people snapping at your feet! If you don't mind those a little older there are plenty of horses that need a more relaxed life like you describe. Try putting up a few adverts, I bet you'll find some crackers :)
