Do they still make soft travel boots? I WANT SOME

I used to have some shires ones. It was a few years ago but i think they still sell them

The polly products ones are still available (I have a pair which are 21 years old), and the polypad people also make them.

I like them for front boots (and for good travellers), but I suppose the stiffened type maybe stay on better (back legs anyway).

I've got a set of Sportabac travel boots and I'm delighted with them. They're made of neoprene so are soft and not at all bulky but give good protection. One of the velco straps goes through a loop and back on itself so they don't slip. Not cheap but highly recommended. I think you need to get them on-line as have never seen them in shops. Google sportabac.

The trouble I have with stiff ones is that they slip down and my horses have got pretty chunky legs! Thanks for the suggestions guys

Just remembered that Horseware used to make soft travel boots. I'm sure I saw them in Rideaway catalogue though perhaps it was a previous one.

I've got these and I agree, they're great.
But I think Sportabac are no longer trading, so they may be tricky to find.

Horseware do soft ones still.
I can see the benefits but not sure if they offer as much protection as the stiffer ones, plus my boy destroyed them bottoms of his (they fitted) within about 2 trips.

My horse detests moulded travel boots (kicks out and flails his legs about). I found some of the thick padded ones in a second hand tack place - £5 - and he's fine with them!
You can get them new - but they are not as thick and padded (or the ones I found anyway).
