Hi all being playing with idea of a sharer then changed my mind as i can afford him and well hes not riding school horse, but now I'm worried as i get bigger(pregnancy) ill find it hard getting on him.

my boy is
16.3hh dutch warm blood
very very forward going
hacks alone but will try and turn back if given half chance, jogs home if allowed (sore hand after fighting for 20 Min's) has navicular in front right not affecting him so long as he gets his cortavet(think that's how its spelt) can be ridden out everyday. cant be cantered/galloped for long and has Laryngeal Paralysis confirmed by vet.
terrified of drains
falls asleep for shoes
100% to lead, box will play up slightly to load (sure the thinks its funny to stand 2 inches up ramp for 5 Min's)
can spook but will only turn round wont take off
doesn't nap/kick/bite

do you think someone would want to ride him?

Thanks for reading this!

There is a sharer out there for you, but I think you will have to vet them carefully and perhaps have a trial period. He sounds just like my Captain, except he loads himself into a lorry never tried a trailer.

Hope it works out for you.

where abouts do you have him??
i would love to share him!
as im currently looking for a sharer!
but im in doncaster.. where abouts is he?

I'm not sure about this whole sharer business - and it depends on how much money/ time you are looking for.

I say this because I've been looking for a good sharer for one of mine for months (don't even want money, just cost of shoing and some time) as I've a young baby too, but keep getting nervous novices as mine is a fairly steady cob. Am fed up with explaining that she's only 5 so no novices.

Actually I'm sorry, won't hijack your post will go and post one about how to avoid the nervous novices....

Totally second this, i think there is some one out there, its just finding them

whereabouts are you based?

if money isn't an issue and if you live near a university I would see if they have a riding club. As a poor student myself as much as many of us would like to get horses to share we just can't afford it. and if you approach the president of the club then you can be sure they will only ask riders who they know are competent.

I'm in tunbridge wells hijack if you want don't mind! time not cash but i don't want joy riders so was going to ask for half shoes and some livery costs. don't live near a university

Hmm i guess just patience then! And advertise anywhere and everywhere! (horsemart, horsequest, worldofhorses, newrider, tack shops etc) tack shops might get more the type of person you're after cus they are normally in the middle of nowhere so only dedicated riders go looking for adverts there! in my experience anyway. Good luck tho!
