A synthetic saddle?

I was going to buy as isabell werth wintec for dreassage but would continue to use leather barnsby for showing...

Any thoughts?

Thanks

I have one of these and they are great, so deep although the stirrups are further back so they take a little getting used to. Equestrian clearance have the best prices

I have a wintec Isabell werth for everday and a Jaguar for competitions and I have actually started competing in my Isabell as opposed to my jaguar as I find it more comfortable and sticky!!! I love the jaguar but as I am on big youngsters I feel a bit more secure in the isabell if they leap about warming up! When they grow up and calm down I will go back to competing in my Jaguar but the isabell teamed with full seated breeches makes a great velcro-like combination!!!!

good to hear they're nice saddles! Think I'll prob go for one.

My boy is in a 17 1/2 MW barnsby GP - I take it the sizes will be roughly the same? Can you/saddler adjust a synthetic once you've brought it?

I have a 17.5" one and it is quite a big saddle, it does fill the horses back, although they are very light. My wintec one has the Cair system and the interchangeable gullets. I currently have in a medium gullet and I have had the saddle on lots of different horses and found it fit them all quite well as they have good wither clearance. My Jaguar is a Medium wide and I would say the medium gullet is the same width as the Jaguar saddle! You can change the gullet yourself to suit your horse and I have the full kit but I have not even had to change from a medium yet despite using it on quite a few horses! It is a good stable saddle and I would say it suits the chunkier warmblood more than the thoroughbred type horse

If you order from equestrian clearance you should get a free gullet when you order, so you would have the medium which comes as standard and get someone to measure Ty with the wintec gullet measure and then get that size free. Any saddler can check the fit and adjust as required

Funny but my Irish TB is wider than alot of warmbloods! I guess he's quite chunky and his strength is in his shoulders so I'll go for a med and get the free mw gullet.....good vibes for lots of birthday money please guys!! x
