I daren't do Whisks he would eat it all. Haddy gets his own Christmas card of an old friend so that is pinned to his door and he is 30 in January so he will be getting a banner up to celebrate that.

Not after watching one of the liveries many years ago loading up her horse to be taken to horsepital after eating the tinsel.
We giggled when we saw the tinsel coming out of his back end, but no one laughed when the trailer came back empty!!!
Tinsel caused a huge compaction in his gut and intestines. Poor thing died in surgery.
Decorations were banned on the yard after that.

I put little white lights in the trees outside the stables last year ( we keep our horses at home! ) it looked really lovely.

Frankly, it's enough hassle decorating the bloody house without starting outside as well - the horses would probably eat them though.....

Yes every year and they have stockings, solution to horses eating them...put them out of reach! Unless its paper chains.

local livery yard-one of the horses cut its tongue off with trying to eat tinsel.
although mine do wear antlers in the stable if my little neice is round and on hacks in late december lol

I once did and I turned my back for a second and my pony had almost eaten an entire thing of tinsel.....i just shoved my hand straight in his mouth and wrenched it all out...no no decorations ever again! hahaha
