Because I do. I feel sick when I think of school, but know how important it is. I often cry about school, because I hate it - and do you know why? People there don't even know what 'Eventing' is
I appreciate the fact that my parents would rather I go to state school, them with their lefty consciences, but sometimes I wish I could go to school with my Pony Club friends. Thing is, I ride at least 12 hrs a week, more if I'm competing, and I love it. I live and breathe it. So when my friend ask me to find a weekend where I'm not competing so I can go and shop in Primark with them, I make up excuses, because, well I'd rather be riding...
I'm not complaining, but just wanted to share feelings with people who actually understand, and have a huge commitment to the same sport as me. I love riding, and could ride all day, but often my friends get Narky with me because I rave on about riding, and ODEs, and ponies all the time, rather than make-up, and Gucci. Sometimes people call me spoilt too..
