I did have 3 coloured horses in the snow, they looked immaulate, now I have 3 bays, similar to your pic.!!!

mine's great trick is to stand in the puddle right by the gate, and paw the water so it splashes everywhere, including all over me!! funny as anything though

Haha!!! What a classic! I have a photo somewhere of my boy who happened to be naked in the field. When I bought him in he got to the puddle before I did. It took me 3 hours to clean him up - Friesian with full mane and tail!
On another occasion he galloped up to the puddle, there was a split second of "o hell" as I saw a wave of water coming up and over. No time to move. Totally covered by cold muddy water! My OH rolled about when I told him... until he did it to him! (the horse that it... )

When mine comes in like that I use the yard brush and hose on his rug - whilst he's still wearing it. Serves the bugger right.
