I am switching my boy onto Baileys Lo-cal as I was ending up with 3 different feeds plus supplements. Was advised the Lo-cal has all the vitamins plus the protein which the supplements dont offer.

Used to give him Naf General purpose.

I use NAF general purpose supplement during the winter to top up any vits and mins my horse isnt getting from the grass. She is also on biotin, garlic powder and magnesium all year round.

I answered YES but should add that I don't when a horse is receiving full recommended amounts of quality mix or cubes. As mine are all youngsters, I use a youngstock Balancer year round so dont need to add anything extra. I do keep NAF General Purpose supplement for any horses coming in which need supplementing though, and would not be happy if any of the horses in my care weren't receiving their vits/mins by one route or another. Bit like my 4 children LOL.

yes I do as dont feed the recommended amounts of hard feed (too expensive and he wont eat the volume). Was feeding Top Spec Comp Balancer to my 16hh and have also used 360 Complete from Equine Answers. I switching to Formula 4 feet as that is daily vits / mins plus extra biotin and stuff for feet.
