......if you cant see your horse everyday?

ok well Frankie doesn't actually belong to me, and he's not even on loan to me i just ride him when i can, which is about 4 or 5 times a week. i feel guilty though if i dont see him, like i was going to go riding tonight but his owner rang me up and said there's no point because he has lost a back shoe so i cant go hacking, and the school is too wet.

i didnt ride him yesterday either! aahhh hope he doesn't miss me too much

ETS: Cant go hacking!!

i am lucky as mine are at home with me - so cant walk past field without saying hello! but would def feel guilty if i didnt!!

no but they're on full livery , however I do feel guilty if I don't see them on one of my alloted free days.
Guilty for nto seeing them and guilty for the money I spend on having them if I don't even go and see them when I have the chance!

gelding would make me feel guilty anyway

went to look at a horse down south a while ago and broke down on the motorway coming home, got to the yard about 11ish and trying not to make a noise gave a low whistle and gelding came flying up the field like shergar, was freaked out his dinner was late

((YO is ok about me going up at late times (especially since weve had problems with vandals recently) but trying to tiptoe 2 horses across gravel is really hard

I would love the chance to 'feel guilty'! I see my boy every single day of the year and would love to leave him to someone else for a couple of weeks and go on holiday! Trouble is that in the past, Ive managed the odd week away and spent the whole time worrying about whats happening at home

I can only see April at weekends as I work in London during the week so yes, I hate it when I can't just go see her.

She's not mine though and gets looked after very well by her owners. Plus she looks forward to seeing me I think as I'm a novelty lol.

blooming heck i see him every day at LEAST TWICE a day regardless and im feeling really really guilty for not having ridden since sat - i dragged him in out of the pouring rain and ive been in the stable with him fussing for over an hour tonight to compensate. i did have one day when i only saw him in the morning and i felt dreadful - so took the next day off work to compensate haha. have a 3 week hol to visit the family in dec, how the hell will i cope???

yep my OH did the horses today since I got caught out at work after the road closed due to flooding and had to vade my way home:o) I do feel a bit guilty for not seing them though I know they are fine. And I also feel disappointed since I was looking forward!

I wasn't very well the other day and rang the yard up to bring him in and check on him, feed him etc. I felt horrendously guilty though! I hate not seeing my horses, I always pani that something terrible will happen if I don't check on them!
