.............Or Canada, or anywhere anyone else lives on here?

Not sure if you do, but if so I have a product they make that I am in LOVE with!

It is Bronco Gold Fly spray!!!!!! I had not used it before today and I will never buy anything else again!
It works better than any fly repellant I have ever used!

It smells of citronella and makes their coats just SHINE!

If you can get your hands on it get some!!!

Yep you can get Bronco over here. I think it's rubbish - doesn't really make the grade with Canadian bugs!

I was just looking at suppliers for you and sorry but this is not the Bronco that I have used; I've only used the regular Bronco. So is the Gold really that good? Can it handle deer flies? Those are the bane of my horses lives when they go up the forest.

Here's the link, you can get it from TSC: TSC stores - Bronco Gold

Well I had used the bronco in the white bottle too (if that is what you mean) I did not like that either.

The "GOLD" is the stuff I love.

Not one deer fly landed last night. In fact, the seemed to disappear from the whole acre area for hours!

This stuff is quite thick and oily too and really sticks to the coat. It is so dense that when sprayed it does not all mist off into the air.

My aunt informed me last night (when I was gushing about the Gold) That the new "BRONCO BLACK" is even better!( more concentrated) It does not have the coat sheen in it though ! LOL I will stick with the Gold as I love the sheen it gives them

You can smell the horses hours later across the yard too! lol

Sorry...I gave some wrong info.

I was trying to find a link for the "Broco BLACK" my aunt told me about and could not find it.

I called her to ask her if it was called anything else and she had made a mistake.

What she has in fact is "Asorbine ultra shield" in a black bottle

sorry about that.

I sent a reply to this post ages ago......but it seems to have disappeared

.

Anyway thank you so much for the recommendation - I am off out shopping tonight so will pick some up. I don't care what the horses smell like, so long as it keeps those nasty biting bugs off them!

Yes I've used the Absorbine black - I didn't find it that great. I'm using Absorbine Concentrate at the moment and it works really well in the field with keeping the horse-flies away BUT it just doesn't touch those deer flies when I go up the forest.

I suppose I should have been more clear on what I meant by that

Although I really like them smell...it is in fact citronella scented (and really strong too) I am not sure if it is gimmick, but I think the smell is supposed to deter the mosquitos?????

If not I quess it is just glorified horsie perfume

I know my citronella candles never work

Let me know what you think. I hope it works for you! I am impressed .

I will let you know. I go through a lot of fly spray here and most of it never works very well, so I am always looking for alternatives.

As I say, most of the regular sprays do work in the field - it's when we go up the forest that those darned deer flies strike and they make their lives a misery! They all swarm around their ears and sit there feeding merrily! Nasty nasty bugs!
