Yes I have them washed but I've found that Fals and Rambos don't need to be re-proofed for about 3 years. Mine haven't been re-proofed since moving here in 2004.
I have all my rugs (which are majority Fals) washed and reproofed every year. I find it keeps them going strong and they go on for years! Some of my rugs are about 7/8 years old and still look new.

Tia, I have just washed ponio's Rhino in the washing machine with non bio on 40 degrees. I was going to spray proof it, does this mean I don't have to?? Are all horseware's the same like that?
Ah no. I have quite a few Rhinos aswell and I do have to re-proof them every year. Sorry but you'll have to get your spray tin out. It's just the newer Rambos and my older Fals that don't appear to need doing. The older Rambo's (purple ones) still need doing every year.
I have Horseware Ireland turnouts and I do get these re-proofed when they are professionally cleaned once a yr. For the lightweight summer turnout I spray with re-proof myself.
Get mine washed every year, reproofed when they need it/if they are still worth it! Just had a MT lightweight reproofed, it is about 4 years old and this is the first time it has needed doing, and it has worked a treat I have to say!
I always have them reproofed when washed as I have a jacket that has been in the washing machine and is now no longer waterproof and I hate the feeling of being in a wet jacket so I dont want my pony to be!
