Do you get tips off this site?

As title - I had two brilliant ones this winter, so - THANKYOU!! to the person who said they get the ice out of their water buckets with a sieve! I had been doing it with my bare hands, but after reading that tip, bought a colander to leave by the water buckets in the field.

Another big THANKYOU!!! to the person who suggested furniture polish to help the zips on my Mark Todd winter riding boots! I had been using a hoof pick to pull the zips up, yet one spray with furniture polish and I haven't looked back!

Has anyone else had any useful tips?

I have learnt all about the use of pig oil and sulphur on this site and also Avon Skin So Soft for sweet itch. Lots of helpful advice and ideas.
