can i please ask why people give horses guiness at xmas? i've heard of it before but never knew why! lol

Guinness is a good drink for horses, in ye olden days some publicans kept a pointer and they got a drink every day, iron and all sorts of good things.

This the first year I won't be riding out, weep, but I will make sure he has a nice hack and a roll in the sand pit. plus ad lib haylage, and some "treats" in his feed, lets hope he will be a good boy while I am away!
