Do you have canter "spots"?

Guilty too. Of the two of ours that I ride regularly, one will fret until he's had a blast then settle, the mare, if she's in the mood to get wound up will do so whether I walk or canter on the "canter spots"
 
I have a hill in the woods I only ever gallop up. But can easily avoid it if needed as track further ups that's the only spot where I wouldn't be able to hold her back. Except from that I can do any speed any where I want.
