Have never bothered getting one vetted! Most are cheap but the last was £5000 so just got him insured!

I have 3 horses at present and none of them were vetted!
Maybe I should have.
Summer cost me £500 so I took a gamble, she was 3, sat on once and I just went ahead and had my fingers crossed. We have had her nearly 2 years and, touch wood, she has never seen a vert other than to have jabs.
Lily, our mini shetland cost us £250! Again, due to her age (8 months) I just took a gamble.
Viento, who cost the most was imported from Spain in June of this year. Not sure why I didn't get him vetted but hey ho, so far we've had no probs.
