Do you jump on your own?

I dont jump but I didnt canter on my own in the school last week. Yet I do canter alone out hacking. If I canter her properly out in the open, she is unlikely to spook and the horsetrack is straight with no corners. Plus, unlike the school, there is no fence to fall onto.

Usually I tend to ride alone, but when I'm jumping I always make sure someone is around or near by, as about 13-14 years ago I had a bit of an accident with my schoolmaster, just a little spook ended with a nice ambulance ride :) I broke my ankle, it would have been better if someone was there (and my phone wasn't dead) but I was sat in the arena for just under an hour untill my daughter's trainer happened to show up 🙈

There is an app, whose name I've helpfully forgotten then will call your emergency contact if your phone is stationary for X period after you've activated it. You could use that, then if you did have a fall riding alone at least you'd know someone would come looking fairly promptly.

Like many others if I didn't do stuff alone I'd never do anything.
