Hi,

Following on from my MICHEAL ROE thread, please have a look at these horses and see if you recognise any of them. They are all believed to have been through Micheal Roe's hands in the past 3 weeks. Please keep an eye out for them at any sales, and if you see them please get in touch asap PM me for number, if you can take a photo with a date on it and send it over.

I am interested in getting in touch with anyone who has spotted them, or the "horse whisperer" who sold Hidalgo on to his new owner.

FERGUS 15.3hh- reg with farmkey- two white socks behind.

NONE of these horses are fit to ride or should be ridden.

I can't go on to reasons in public forum, WHW are involved in this so if you do see any of them please also consider contacting Ted Barnes.

Not yet, apart from a lady on the IH forum giving me some information then trying to backtrack and denying it all, seems Hidalgo was advertised in the Durham area, so any ideas on this? Tried horsemart but no joy there. Any suggestions?

I suggest you have a look at the exeter sales catalogue when it is published today, quite likely that one could end up there. The sale is next tuesday and he has been known to sell horses through there.

Please contact Ted Barnes ILPH urgently if you see any of these horses. They have been purchased fraudulently and WHW are currently investigating. Should you see any of them please make a note of lorry they come off or go on to, registration number, description of person and take a picture on mobile phone of the horse. They are all easy to identify. If you can find out any "history" on them by asking please do, all of this needs to be reported to myself and Ted. The bay gelding fergus will be lame behind as will the spotty. The cremello is very nervous and I shouldn't think any one would be able to get on her and the bay mare may be ridden but prob not if anyone has any sense, although she may trot round the car park alright with someone on top.

If this is genuine fraud can you put contact details for the Police force dealing with it plus the crime number, thanks.

Look, this is either a crime (in which case please post the Police crime reference number) or it isn't in which case you are going to have to be a bit more specific.

Reading between the lines it appears that these horses have been sold to or given to somebody who has misrepresented themselves and probably wants to sell them on. That is what happens when you sell or give away a horse, you have no control over their future.

Were these your horses?

If a crime has been commited then get the Police Incident Number and then contact Horsewatch giving them the Police Incident Number and a description and photo of each horse as well as details of the crime commited. They will send the details round the country by E-mail.
