I put this post in the breeding section a few days ago and didnt get a very good response,so thought i would try it here(sorry)
As many of you know my mare has gone away to Dorset to look after a orphaned foal(she lost her own)
The owner of the foal said that she would pay for my mare to be covered by a stallion called Del boy.(coloured)
Does any one know any thing about this stallion?
 
It doesnt say a huge amount about him.I agree he does look nice in the picture.Will have to see him in the flesh before i make up my mind.
He is 10 years old and doesnt look like he has any kind of form really.
Does any one know what his stud fee is?

I guess it depends what you want to breed and whether he would compliment your mare. If you wanted to breed a nice all rounder, you met him and liked him then its a possibility. An awful lot of IF'S though. I have not heard of him and for me he is not really stallion material from the pics - but I am more into top level sportshorses which he doesn't pretend to be. He may very well be a good producer of sound, kind all rounders which may be just what you are looking for.
