Question in the title really! Or do you swop to a stable rug?
I tend to leave my horses with turnouts on at night. I obviously remove them regularly to check all is well but I'm pretty sure horse is happier in snug t/o than changing? And as I said in another post if he accidently snoozes in a damp patch it doesn't soak through!
I also layer with turnouts too as I find they don't slip back so much causing them to rub (not so stretchy) and they have more freedom of movement. In fact if I layer my TB with anything other than t/o's he tries to remove them!
Just wondered what other people do...
