Do you...Own, Loan, Share or something else?

A very curious post...

As the title says really.

1. Do you ride currently?

2. Do you: A - own your own
B - have a horse on full loan
C - Share or part loan a horse
D - Ride someone else's horse
E - Ride at the local riding school (or similar)
F - not have anything to ride/ are "between horses"
G - Anything else.

At the moment I do ride (lots) and share a horse although hopefully I have found a horse to have on full loan (and should find out whether I can have her within the next few weeks.)
 
Ride currently.

We have 3 horses - one is mine, two are my sisters ponies. I had a horse on part loan for a year before buying my own just over 2 years ago.

Also ride a variety of other horses as training for stage II at work.

It's a mixture between "C - Share or part loan a horse" and "D - Ride someone else's horse." I pay for Sophie's feed and shoes, and do yard chores and what not, and in return her owner lets me ride and compete her

I own two, my cob which I ride, and my little girls Welshie which she rides. A girl from Pony Club sometimes rides my boy as shes got a youngster at the moment and is limited in what she can do with it, not a sharer as such, just as and when really!!

Ride one horse regularly.

I own 3, one horse (Which I ride), a Section A (11 year old rides) and a 10 month old cobby type foal!
 
I ride currently and at present loan two horses. However, one is being signed over to me next week when the other loan is collected and I have also bought one who will be coming home next week.

So today I loan two, next week I will own two

I own half of one- so own and share really- and have one on loan with view to buy, probably for a month or two before we make a decision (we know the seller and she is being very co operative

1. Yes, I have a tb x/ reg. Scottish Sporthorse that I own/ride

A - Yes i have owned him for 2 1/2 years
B - I loan a Shetland pony from a friend as a companion for Minnie
C - No
D - No
E - No
F - No
G -Hoping to buy another light hack type pending purchase of my own land this year/ early next year
 
Yes, ride currently. A mixture of C, D and E - ride someone elses P-to-Pers, have a lesson a week at the local school, and pay the school a bit for a 'share' - ie. able to take one of theirs out or in the school as and when I fancy as she's not used much. Somewhere around that I fit work and life... honest!
 
I ride, but only once a week at the local riding school. I don't have my own horse. When I'm more confident and experienced I will be looking for a share horse.
