Do you pay for extra hay?

To everyone who keeps their horse/s on livery. Do you have to pay for any extra hay you use per day (ie if your horse stays in for whatever reason) or are you allowed ad-lib amounts? If you do pay, how much per net? Thankyou in advance!

Our liveries get adlib at no extra cost

Nope, I pay for ad-lib. Good if your horse eats tons, but not so good if you have one like mine that eats next to nothing!

None of my hay is included in my livery, I get my own. At a previous yard where it was provided as part of the package we could use as much or as little as we wanted.

My hay is not included in the livery so I have to pay extra but the farm makes their own and only costs £2.00 per bale and its good quality ponio loves it.

At another yard I was at livery went up £10.00 per week during winter but included ad lib haylage.

Ab lib haylage is inclued within our livery, normally we get the choice of either hay or haylege, but because for the weather this year they were unable to make hay
