hi there.

i was just wondering if anyone here pays for lorry parking on a livery yard, or if most places do it for free???
if you pay, how much does it cost you???

thanks

My cousin does it for free, but the bigger yards locally charge about £2.00pw for trailers and £5.00pw for lorries. Hope this helps.

I have never paid for trailer parking at a livery yard......and I am sure I wouldn't have to pay for a lorry either ( but might have to help out with transport occasionally in lieu)

My YO charges £10 trailer £20 lorry per month to have a space in the yard carpark - there's no undercover but it is secure, gates padlocked and bollards put up at night and cctv.

Mine is really expensive based on your replies, we pay £30 a month. The trailers and lorries are hidden away and the yard is very secure so at least I know the trailer is safe

we pay 30 ish a mth for our lorry and it is secure

Its free at my yard and I'm grateful for that. Another yard that I have considered going to in passing thoughts, charges £10 per month for trailers and £15 for boxes.

We dont have to pay anything at our yard as long you have a horse/pony there on livery we can park them there for free and we have great security.

When I was in a Livery yard the deal was free parking but "Can we use your trailer as and when it suits".

A small price to pay when you have your trailer nice and close to your horses.

£10 for a lorry or trailer. Not undercover and not really secure but you would have to drive right down the whole yard (past 2 houses, security lights and dogs) to get to it so it's quite secure really!

Free parking at my present yard and at the last one. I'd keep it at home if I had to pay! Its not very secure, but it was stolen before from a more secure place
