Do you put sun cream on your horses nose?

Yes but I use sudocream rather than suncream as it stays put better and I can put a thick barrier on.
I have 3 horses with pink noses.

Yes on my grey. I use a supermarket brand, factor 50, sensitive skin and it is water proof.

I do it to help stop his muzzle turning pink and to help avoid melanomas.

Yes, I use it on Rolo but it's like hitting a moving target

Yep - every morning same routine, he gets breakfast - I get a whinney, I grab head collar sun cream and full head mask - his head goes up, runs to back of stable, I follow and corner, squirt bottle, hold carrot - nose in range - splat rub in nose - turn to put full head mask on (he thinks hes Zorro) and just as you get ready to put it on you get a nose full of sun cream down my across my boobs usually if I am in a work shirt, or across the tack on the stable door or down my jodphurs etc... He so loves this game, and if you keep too much on he washes himself in the water trough - yep down to the bottom of his nostrils and swish, and swirl and the water goes white. Pink noses should have a warning on em (lol)

Use a sun filter, it will be absorbed so he can't wash it off. P20 is great, but there is a cheaper one called Calypso that works just as well.
