I wouldn't say it was dangerous, i personally wouldn't do it as while she is being ridden its work time, she gets plenty of free time to munch in!
Do you ride dangerously and.....

I sometimes go hacking with a friend who works at a riding club, and I ride one of their horses. The horse constantly snatches at greenery on the ride, and I was stopping him from eating, when I was informed that the horses are used for endurance and are encouraged to grab snacks as they go!
I must say, I didn't like it much; but I can see the point on endurance rides (I think).
