I do, but tend to avoid really heavy rain if I can help it. Personally, I'd have come in if I'd been in your shoes there OP! Mainly because I'm not convinced you actually achieve much schooling in torrential rain and it just seems pointless to get utterly soaked for no good reason.

I do, but not on purpose :p horse doesn't mind getting caught in the rain though.

Although I used to go out when it was a light drizzle at our last yard because the indoor would get busy and I didn't care for the footing in there.

To be fair, we did come in about 2 minutes later! It was only spotting when we started!

I don't mind a bit of rain. Mostly it rains in the summer here (Gauteng, South Africa), so at least we're not wet and cold.
The only problem is that rain comes with thunderstorms, and we never ride in thunder.

Dressage shows are great when it rains though, because a lot of people withdraw, and if we soldier through we're bound to end up with a rosette ;)

When I was younger I would ride in all weather - snow, hail, rain, strong winds but now I am much more of a fair weather rider but have the luxury of an indoor school so don't have to ride outside in poor weather.
