Do you ride with gloves?

Always wear them and actually it feels weird now when I pop on a horse without them!
I use roekl for any time and jacson summer gloves when it's hot.
As to feeling the reins/weight - I do prefer well fitted gloves and those that are quite thin; don't like riding in 'winer' style gloves as I agree they don't give the same feel.

I wear Dublin Grippies gloves for everyday riding, I've always worn gloves and it doesn't feel right without them now! For shows I wear Roeckl Chester gloves, they're so light and thin and lovely. In the winter (hacking only) I wear thick gloves like Musto fleecy ones, but never for schooling as I can't feel a thing in them! And I always, always, always wear gloves for lungeing, usually either my Dublin ones or my Atlas gloves that I use for yard work.
If I forget my gloves though I'll just get on and ride without them, I don't mind!

I can only wear the thin cotton with pimple palms but I find you do get used to them very quickly just make sure they are not too small and do not restrict your hands at all.

After trying a pair of MacWet gloves I have turned into a glove snob and dont like anything else. So yes I love wearing them to ride in.

Yes I love the Roeckl ones too, nearly always wear them now as my rubber reins rub a bit after a while. Altho sometimes i will school without them, kind of as a little tests as if I can do a schooling session without sore hands I know that a) i'm not being heavy-handed and b) she is not leaning on me!!

I always ride in gloves, whether I'm hacking, schooling, competing or hunting

No never wear Gloves unless its for dressage comps. I have 2 fingers missing from my right hand so I can't wear normal gloves. I have a pair of normal cotton pimple palm gloves that I have had to cut and modify to fit. I couldn't possibly do a bodge job on a pair of gloves that cost a bit more than my £2 pair

I would love a pair of "proper" gloves but after many years of riding I have got use to going bare

Another Roeckl fan here. I have massive hands and Roeckl actually make gloves which fit me rather than stopping half way down my palm. Riding in too small gloves is very irritating.
