Do you swear at your horse?

I'm another sereal horse swearer.

Between working with chefs & working with horses there's not a lot that doesnt get swore at to be honest.

Not very ofter i swear at my mare as she's really sensitive & picks up on whether i'm angry or not before i even speak but the others i look after are hard-headded little buggars at times and regularly get sworn at, bless 'em!

I swear a lot not at my horse though, he rarely needs swearing at because he's good. I do say "oh for fcuks sake" etc if he's being a fidget I suppose. I swear more at other peoples horses, especially the naughty ones, like when I got chucked off in the middle of a road in front of a car I shouted after him as he was galloping home "yeh you can just P*ss off home quick as you like Tw@t face, your not getting fed!" and he didnt.

I don't like to swear at my horse. I honestly feel that horses can pick up on negitive energy. (must admit to a few times, but felt really bad after)
I did apologise loads after.
Hope this doesn't sound strange, but i just felt so gulity

This reminds me, when i was 13 I did a 2'3 clear round in an indoor arena - I was scared and whilst cantering towards all the parents and kiddies shouted sh*t!!! very loudly as I approached a jump

So surprised my dad didn't kill me that day lol

My horse decided he wouldn't load again on Sunday so not only did I swear at him but whilst hitting him with the end of the leadrope I was leading him with I shouted at the top of my voice "get on the f**** lorry you f**** c**t"

Yep I hang my head in absolute shame - thank god he can't understand what I am saying

I dont normally swear at the big grey pet however today he decided that a table and chair was going to eat him so along with my usual pony club growl of GET ON WITH IT I added bugger and sh it.

( I had just read this thread before I went out.)

I am normally a right potty mouth but not around the animals. I dont know why

i swear at mine
its usually like "for fu*ks sake, Mattie stand blood* still!"
its the tone of voice i think and i would rather swear then hit him.

I have only scanned this post and not read all of them so forgive me if i have repeated what someone else has said.

Why does it matter if we swear at our horses or not?! In case none of you have noticed, but they are horses and probably couldnt care less what cactus!

Ooops!! This just goes to show - dont have an MSN conversation whilst typing a post as if will end up that you combine to conversations and end up with a random word instead of the normal end to a sentance!!

Apparently it is too late to edit now!

I dont swear at my horses, dont know why not - never felt the need!

Im one of the ones who thought Dennis Lynch was an arse for swearing etc. but only given the context. It wasnt the swearing, more the fact he was so hacked off that the horse had tripped over a fence chucking itself to the ground (as well as him) - the horse didnt mean to do that of course - that is what I disagree with. Anybody who's horse falls and then they swear like hell about how awful the horse is, I just dont get.

i thought the cactus remark was a trendy new phrase doing the rounds

as in
don't ask me, i don't care what cactus !
