Do you tell your OH...

i tell him if i fall off and his first question is was i wearing my bp to which the answer is always no so then i get told off for that  if my daughter falls off then i really play it down otherwise the pony would be pedigree chum:eek:

i have a friend who got a pony on loan and shared my field for a while, i had to pretend pony was mine because she didn't want to tell her mum!!! she's in her 30's pmsl!!!

I have failed to mention falls in the past. Dh is a nervous rider and it really upsets him when I fall off. Though he has witnessed a few of my more impressive ones! They were apparently my fault for doing dangerous things on a dangerous horse...... jumping on a riding school horse

I dread to think what he'll be like when I fall off our own horse...... he'll probably refuse to ride her........

My mum had a nasty fall and fractured her shoulder (or something!). Didn't tell dad, as he worries a lot and the horse she was on was our sensible, safe confidence giver and we hadn't had him long enough for dad to realise he was all of these things- just totally insane too. Between my mum and my sister, we always know of falls- it's important in case something has broken so mum can check it out.

Dad also now gets told everything. He's relaxed a lot over the years and now understands riding and falling off are one and the same really. He doesn't like it, but we've all chilled a lot. When I was younger and he came to watch us compete I'd fall off without fail!
