... a 16hh Skewbald mare? Tbx, 9 years old.
However only been jumping for a couple of months (flat schooled since 4), but clearly has the ability there. Brilliant manners on the ground, but has the occasional mareish moment when ridden. Good to hack, shoe, etc. Used occasionally in the riding school too.

Feel I should ask as it turns out we just don't click and I feel like I'm wasting her :o

I know the market's bad right now, so was wondering if you lot thought anyone would be interested or should I stick it out till spring?

Will post a picture when I can work out how

Hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows for everyone

I'm sure somebody would be interested in her for the right price. You might have to be prepared to cut your losses and end up selling her for the same, or slightly less than you paid for her yourself though. The only thing I would ask is - what do you mean when you say she has 'the odd mareish moment when ridden'? What does she do?

How long have you owned her for? Could you not maybe get some lessons and see if you can work through your problems as then you might get on with her better?

Mareish moment= drags her head down a bit when she's decided she's had enough, but she gets over it pretty quick.

I've had about 7 months and we were getting on fine but we seem to have hit a block and wind each other up. I've been trying lessons and will have a few more before throwing in the towel, just its starting to be more of a chore to ride her as I'm too hot-seated and stubborn for her really. Everyone else seems to ride her a lot better!
