do you think I look too big?

Its a bad picture but gives general view. I always have worried since buying her (she is TBx 15.2hh) that I am too heavy for her and now I am becoming paranoid. I was looking at a video of a 16.2 hh that I tried out but didnt buy as he was too strong and thought I looked so much better. I do feel a bit big on her on sometimes (I am not what you call svelte) and am now thinking that neither of us will ever feel quite comfortable particularly with jumping. Aside for the 'too big' issue I am also starting to lose my confidence with the jumping and she is proving rather excitable out hacking - nothing too silly just a bit spooky and very joggy walk but enough for me to not look forward to going out,. I was looking for something a bit more ploddy as coming back to riding after 10 year break. I did have her on a 2 week trial but she was lovely and quiet. I do suspect that she has put on a bit of condition, is a bit fitter and combined with spring grass is now showing me her true colours. Lovely mare on the ground though - cant fault her but just niggling at that back of my mind that I have made a bad decision..... ohhh what to do ........? Hope the pic works!

You look fine on her to me, you want to see some of the big showjumping men on their 15.2s jumping 6 foot fences!!

You really don't look too big - just right in fact. I am over 10st and 5ft 4. I hunted a 13 3hh last season. (I did feel guilty tho') Re your mare getting jiggy(!) whilst out - she is still settling in -it is a learing curve for the two of you. Best of luck x
 
you look really nice on her
and you look a good rider and balanced...a balanced rider is going to weigh a lot less then an 9st complete novice

thanks everyone for taking the time to reply - I feel much better. I am really glad that you dont thinki I look too big as I really like her and can work through the other problems. Sometimes you feel like there is a whole boat of issues when in fact there isn't!!!!!!
