Do you think I look too small on this mare?

Joke.....I know she's huge. 17.3 ex grade A that I had a lesson on!

Yep she's lovely to ride. There is so much of her that you feel really safe on her. Got plenty of go but beautifully schooled. We started to do a little bit of extended trot in one lesson and I have never felt so much power from a horse.

Lovely mare - I would love to have a go on her. I look like you do on most of what I ride, being just under 5' and normally riding 16 hands plus. I do find that when jumping being perched on top of a big wide horse can make life a little more difficult but I have learnt to cling on ok - Cairo is a clydesdale with a huge jump in his younger days.

I have found going from 16.3 Cairo to 15 hand Chancer a little odd sometimes when I ride them back to back, and personally prefer to be on a big chunky horse - more to grab hold of in front of you when things going wrong.
