Yep she's lovely to ride. There is so much of her that you feel really safe on her. Got plenty of go but beautifully schooled. We started to do a little bit of extended trot in one lesson and I have never felt so much power from a horse.
Lovely mare - I would love to have a go on her. I look like you do on most of what I ride, being just under 5' and normally riding 16 hands plus. I do find that when jumping being perched on top of a big wide horse can make life a little more difficult but I have learnt to cling on ok - Cairo is a clydesdale with a huge jump in his younger days.
I have found going from 16.3 Cairo to 15 hand Chancer a little odd sometimes when I ride them back to back, and personally prefer to be on a big chunky horse - more to grab hold of in front of you when things going wrong.
