for me to hire out the local school after the trailblazers comp this weekend, to do some schooling over the fences? I've not done much jumping lately and we need to work on striding/fillers/confidence so I thought if I hire it and put the jumps down so they are tiny I can pop round it a few times to see how we get on. Then maybe do the small class if we do ok and he doesn't have a meltdown at the fillers

Does that sound like a good plan? Or do you think it sounds stressful?! I'd rope my OH into doing jumps for me.....

Aah yes I though of that

I've just rang them and I'm going up for a lesson after the show has finished

I now feel slightly sick with nerves.......at least I'll get him into the atmosphere a little and he'll see the jumps etc.

you will be fine, work your horse up gradually then you will have nothing to worry about. if your horse likes jumping that is

I think that's a brilliant idea. There's no pressure on you and you can take it as slowly as you like.
