I've got show booked for the end of the month and my faithful competition boots have died a very sad death ?.

I'm going to struggle to get anything really nice this month without dipping into my emergency vet fund and would rather buy nice boots rather than make do ones, if that makes sense? So would the chaps I've linked above be okay? They're my everyday ones and, although they definitely don't look like that anymore, they scrub up quite nicely. I'm just worried that the pattern on them will make them look a bit tatty.

What do people think? TIA

What’s the competition for? I’d say it’s a no for showing, a maybe for dressage, and a yes for showjumping ?

Most unaffiliated is run under BD rules anyway.

I think you will be fine for dressage. I'd be surprised if anyone took the point. Even if the judge did take exception I would only expect a 2 point deduction and not elimination.

Yes but most are fairly flexible on the riders dress etc as long as the tack etc is right. But each site is different.
