Do you think these would be acceptable for a show?

I've got show booked for the end of the month and my faithful competition boots have died a very sad death ?.

I'm going to struggle to get anything really nice this month without dipping into my emergency vet fund and would rather buy nice boots rather than make do ones, if that makes sense? So would the chaps I've linked above be okay? They're my everyday ones and, although they definitely don't look like that anymore, they scrub up quite nicely. I'm just worried that the pattern on them will make them look a bit tatty.

What do people think? TIA

If unaffiliated fine. If affiliated borderline due to not being all the same material, rules are that they must be the same 'leather' as the short boot.

I think you will be fine for dressage. I'd be surprised if anyone took the point. Even if the judge did take exception I would only expect a 2 point deduction and not elimination.
