Do you think they'll be cold?

My horses are in today cos the weather is so sh!t and my friends who do them in the mornings for me have left them in and taken their duvets off.... so they are both freshly blanket clipped and have a very thin stable rug with neck and a sorta medium thin ish stable rug over the top - neither are very thick, do you think they'll be cold now?

Not much i can do though until i get there this evening!

As you say there isn't a lot you can do right now but they are better off being too cold for a few hours than too hot.

I am sure they are fine

im sure they'll be fine ;; its the wind that makes it feel colder than it actully is so they should be pretty happy in there stables

They'll be fine if the temp is anything like it is here (surrey) it about 9C

I'm sure they'll be fine, alisha is in stable with just a thermatex on and she is usually very warm in just that!

Mmmm maybe i worry a bit much.... but i also don't want their clips to grow back lol!!

They will be fine!!

My horse is fully clipped and only has a stable rug on and fleece at night. Its too warm at the mo (9 degrees).

Oh you are good to your neds Lis! Ours are chucked out in all weathers!

I’m sure they will be fine, went out at lunch for a walk and it was actually quite mild.

Lol well they usually are chucked out in all weathers but it was pouring hard this morning and the field is already knee deep in mud - its harder to walk through than walking on an ice rink! So just thought they might as well stay in today!
