In terms of sharing/loaning my horse I was wondering if I could get some advice. I sadly can't afford to keep him by myself any more and I can't sell him... so I thought I would try and find someone to help me out. I am going to do it by word of mouth as I want someone I know.
I also want to keep him at the yard he is at now, and I would still want ultimate control over his day to day care so I would probably still do all the mucking out etc. I really just want someone to ride him for me, and perhaps be around to help me out with him if I am away with work. He is so easy to do, and although doesn't do anything fancy he will hack/school/jump a small course. He was borrowed by the kids at the yard for pony club this summer so did a bit of everything there and loved it, so I would quite like someone younger who can have a bit of fun on him. They can ride or do whatever they wanted with him (as long as I can still muck out!). I would probably only want a contribution towards his livery/hay so perhaps £20 a week? Do you think this sounds ok, or should I be paying someone to do this for me?!
This is him by the way...as you can see he's obviously not going to be doing Badminton but for someone looking for a nice safe horse to have a bit of fun on he would be perfect!
