Do you think your horses are ever embarrassed by you? ugly pony post got me thinking!

Oh definitely. I brought his new rug back from Derby House last week and put it on him to try it - I'm not sure a pony could look more resigned to his fate. If he could roll his eyes he would have done! This is said rug: http://www.derbyhouse.co.uk/Equestr...erby+House+Pegasus+Print+Turnout_401-0066.htm

I think he knew he was in trouble when we started hacking out in a bright yellow "Tigger" saddle cloth. Just to complete the picture I'm 26, he's a 13.2hh Fell pony. Having never had a pony of my own as a child I'm making up for lost time. :D :D :D

LOVE the rug (may have to add it to my collection)!! I have a pink + blue one my 14.2 cob gelding hates soooo much he actually hides when he has it on...I also have a cow print one AND a joules spotty one!!

They still love me though...or is that only when I have a pink feed bucket :D:D

My loopy TB mare spends a lot of her time pretending I'm not actually onboard;-P I don't think it's anything to do with embarrassment more like she wants the sensible one holding her back to a respectable pace on the stubble fields to disappear!

I don,t think my mare is embarressed by me but frustrated by me maybe ???, I like slow controlled canters where she much prefers good old fashioned gallops, she does respond when I ask her to slow down but shakes her head sometimes as if to say "for gods sake woman lets go!!!"

PMSL, my horses couldn't care less what I look like as long as I continue to be their devoted slave and bring them lots of food...

Quite sure my girls would be mightily embarrassed by me if they knew so few other ponies are owned by aging crocs with no fashion sense. As it is they seem not to mind trundling this old girl around the countryside!

Absolutely! People often tell me my pony is handsome. I know if I was him I would definately be embaressed to have me as an owner. I can be quite immature alot of the time and my friends are always telling me im mental or wierd so would hate to know what my pony thought of me. . . . He has to deal with me everyday lol x

Haha I got this all the time when I first got Kelly!! Had no confidence on her in open spaces so when I got the flash noseband and martingale out (made me feel a bit better, not that it ever did much!) it WAS almost like  here we go again...then once we were on the field I had the miniscule bucks and head shaking like "please please please, just lets go, just for a bit!!"
(I now have more confidence on her, we get onto a field and its 5th gear and away!!) :)
