Our 3 all used to go out together but my mare's recovering from a tendon injury so she's turned out in a separate field with some cows for company as I don't trust her not to gallop around if I turned them all out together. We're on a farm though so the fields are big so there's plenty of space for them to keep away from each other.

Mine have to be turned out together - or they jump out over 6 1m electric fences as they can't see the stables from their field

They are turned out in well chosen pairs or in adjoined fields - I also lunge them if they haven't been out for more than 3 days.

Mine don't stay out overnight but the 'fatties' do my TB would do if we had enough grass - although I have a rising 8 pony who has never been out overnight in her life!

No chance! I like them to be able to reach each other over the fence if they can be trusted to play nice! I used to turn them out in pairs until one got kicked and it broke his leg.
