Saddle doesn't fit at the moment as horse not fit.

I use a sheepskin half pad to spread the weight a bit but worry that I'm altering the fit of the saddle. I have got a gel pad though but don't use it!

My boy has practically no withers (cob!) so I use it to stop the saddle slipping and also to give him a little bit of cushioning, as he's had problems with his back in the past and I was advised to use one.

No I dont use a gel pad. If you have a correctly fitted saddle then you wont need one.

No, my saddle fits.

No, I don't like them, they are so heavy. I prefer to use a sheepskin or even just a polypad if I need extra cushioning for any reason.

No, I have a Rambo air pad as its what the saddler reccomended as I am on my 5th saddle in a year (horse keeps changing shape since I bought him and started working him) until I can afford the 6th
