Question in title really
Horse is 10 years old and has not been vacinated for 5 years. (I have only owned him since May when he was given to me
)
Previous owner never vaccinated.
Most people on my yard do not vaccinate, and the one horse that was vaccinated against flu got it. Some vaccinate religiously though.
To be honest I thought nothing of it until I renued my insurance policy and there is an exclusion stating they will not pay out for any disease he has caught if he could have been vaccinated against it. In other words some parts of my insurance are void without a vaccination.
Also how much does it generally cost to vaccinate, i presume i will have to start from the beginning so will it cost alot more than normal?
Thanks
